A comedy series that has been in the works at HBO will not go forward, as the pay-cable network has decided to pass on the pilot, reports Deadline.com.

The series is the Tea Leoni project "Spring/Fall," which was set in New York’s fashion world. The plot focused on the partnership of Leoni’s Margo and Hope Davis’ Eden, who have different approaches to careers and relationships, the story says.

The pilot was directed by Jake Kasdan, as previously reported.

Other pilot projects have already approached Leoni about taking on lead roles, the piece adds.
