The creator and co-star of a TV sitcom that became a cult favorite is planning a movie version of the show, reports Deadline.com.

The show is the British series "Absolutely Fabulous," and the project is the brainchild of one of its stars, Jennifer Saunders, the story reports. Saunders plans to write the film once she’s done working on the London stage musical "Viva Forever," the story adds.

"Ab Fab: The Movie" will start with best friends Patsy and Edina waking up with hangovers on an oligarch’s empty yacht, which is drifting in the ocean, the piece says.

BBC America, which aired the program, has recently co-produced three new "Ab Fab" TV specials, with the first one set to air in the U.K. during the holidays, the story says.
