‘Porky’s’ Actor Dead in Apparent Suicide

An actor known for his role in the 1982 movie “Porky’s” has been found dead, and authorities believe his death was a suicide, TMZ.com reports.

Wyatt Knight, who played Tommy Turner in “Porky’s” and its sequels, was found dead last week in Maui, the story reports. He was 56.

An autopsy has reportedly been performed, with the results yet to be released. Law enforcement officials reported that Knight’s body was found Oct. 26 in an isolated area near a home where the actor had been staying, TMZ reports.

Turner appeared in guest roles on a number of TV series, including “Chicago Hope,” “Family Ties,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Profiler.”

He reportedly remained friends throughout his life with his “Porky’s” co-stars, including Dan Monahan, Tony Ganios, Roger Wilson and Cyril O’Reilly.
