ABC achieved a ratings milestone over the weekend, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The milestone involved Saturday’s Republican debate, which was the most-watched of any of the debates so far, the network reported.

ABC News said the “Your Voice, Your Vote” broadcast drew 7.6 million total viewers, according to THR.

The special, moderated by ABC News’ Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos, was also the most-watched program of the night, the story notes.

Six candidates took part, including Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry, the piece says.

Other high-rated debates this season have included a Fox News telecast Sept. 22, with 6.1 million total viewers, and a CBS broadcast Nov. 12, with 5.5 million.
