The American Film Institute has picked its Top 10 television shows of 2011, and two freshman dramas are among the series making the cut, reports TVLine.com. Those two series are Showtime’s "Homeland" and HBO’s "Game of Thrones."
The rest of the list, in alphabetical order: "Breaking Bad" on AMC, "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on HBO, "The Good Wife" on CBS, "Justified" on FX, "Louie" on FX, "Modern Family" on ABC and "Parks and Recreation" on NBC.
On Jan. 13 in Los Angeles, AFI will have an invitation-only party to celebrate the honorees.
