‘American Horror Story’ House Goes on the Market — and This Time It Won’t Be Cheap

The house featured in "American Horror Story," an FX drama about a creepy haunted house, has gone on the market, reports the New York Post.

Its owners aren’t looking for a bargain basement price, according to the story. They’re asking $4.5 million for the six-bedroom, five-bathroom house, the story says.

In the television show, a family buys the house without realizing it’s been the scene of numerous murders. When they discover the history, they try to sell it but are forced to ask well below the going rate even for smaller houses in their neighborhood.

The TV series taped the first episode inside the Los Angeles house but rebuilt much of the three-story home on a Fox backlot to film most of the show, the piece adds.
