CNN has unveiled plans for the rollout of its new morning program, which will feature Soledad O’Brien, B&C reports. The new show will debut Jan. 2, the day before the Iowa Caucuses, the story reports.
O’Brien will host the 7-9 a.m. hours of the program, while Ashleigh Banfield and Zoraida Sambolin will anchor from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., the story notes. O’Brien will anchor from Des Moines on Jan. 2 and 3, the piece notes.
The program, which replaces "American Morning," is still untitled, the story adds. “American Morning’s” interim hosts — Ali Velshi, Christine Romans and Carol Costello — will reportedly remain with the channel in other positions.
