Departing CNN anchor T.J. Homes has signed a talent deal, reports Deadline.com. As previously reported, Holmes will leave CNN, where he has served as weekend anchor, at the end of the year. He has signed a talent deal with BET Networks, the story reports.

Under the BET deal, Holmes will host a new show on the cable network and will contribute to BET.com, The show is expected to feature his take on current events and human interest stories, the piece adds.
