A drama from J.J. Abrams is in development at the CW, with "One Tree Hill’s" creator, executive producer and showrunner also involved in the project, reports Deadline.com.
Abrams is working with "One Tree Hill’s" Mark Schwahn on a hotel drama for the network, the story reports.
The drama is one of the network’s highest-profile projects in development, the story says. Schwahn is tapped to write the show, which is called "Maine," given that the project is set at an inn in the state, the article notes.
Abrams and Schwahn will executive produce with Bryan Burk for Warner Bros. TV, Abrams’ Bad Robot and Schwahn’s Mastermind Laboratories, the piece adds.
