Mitt Romney has become the latest Republican presidential candidate to say he won’t join the debate moderated by Donald Trump, reports Fox News. The Newsmax ION event is set for Dec. 27 in Des Moines.
Romney told Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto that he decided against the event because there are already two Iowa debates scheduled and he wanted to spend the time campaigning, the story says.
Trump’s reaction? "He understood my perspective and wished me well," Romney said, according to the piece.
Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum have both said they’ll join the debate, while Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman have declined, the story says. Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann are still considering their decisions.

Both monetarily and morally.
With the exception of Huntsman, the whole damn line up are clowns. He has the audacity to the only reasonable moderate among flip-flopping hypocritical flakes.

It always amazes me how short people’s memories are when it comes to politics. We were already in this economic mess when the new president came on board … it took just under 8 years to get here. Yet we expect the problems to be solved and for the economy to bounce back in a matter of 100 days … and when it doesn’t it’s a free for all for FOX News. I don’t agree with everything Obama has done but it still is better than 8 years of Bush-onomics.
