Fox has bought a single-camera sitcom that will star a "Chelsea Lately" regular and will have veterans of “Seinfeld” and “Brothers & Sisters” on the writing team, reports Deadline.com.
Comedian Josh Wolf, a regular panelist on “Lately,” will star in the show and will also co-write with Spike Feresten of "Seinfeld" and Michael Morris of "Brothers & Sisters," the story notes.
Chelsea Handler and "In Plain Sight" star Mary McCormack are slated to executive produce, the piece reports. Morris, who is married to McCormack, and Wolf will also co-executive produce, according to the story.
The comedy is based on Wolf’s life as a single father working full time as a stand-up comic, the piece adds.
