Paul Feig, director of last summer’s big hit comedy "Bridesmaids," has signed on to direct a high-profile HBO pilot, reports Deadline.com.
Feig joins "The Viagra Diaries," which is being written for television by "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, with Oscar-winner Goldie Hawn set to star in the show.
"The Viagra Diaries" is based on the novel by Barbara Rose Brooker about the abandoned wife of a 65-year-old man who has to try to restart her dating life 35 years after last being single.
Feig is no stranger to TV, having been a co-executive producer and director on NBC’s "The Office."
