Fans of “Star Wars” have been waiting years for news about a proposed live-action TV show based on the film series, but now that a little bit of news has finally surfaced, it’s not all good.

Entertainment Weekly reports: “Sadly, the series, to paraphrase the iconic opening epigraph of the ‘Star Wars’ movies, is ‘far, far away.’”

The good news, such as it is, is that the show has a working title: “Star Wars: Underworld.” That comes from a press junket video featuring Lucasfilm executive producer Rick McCallum. The project was first announced after the release of the final “Star Wars” feature film, “Revenge of the Sith.”

EW asked McCallum whether the title is an indication of what the show’s focus will be. Said McCallum: “Absolutely. Expect a lot of smugglers, gangsters, bounty hunters, and a few Wall Street-type power brokers. Nothing about Luke or the Skywalker saga.”
