HBO Rolls Out Plans for Two Political Projects Featuring Hollywood A-Listers

HBO, which is showcasing a star-studded lineup of upcoming projects at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, has set debut dates for a politically oriented comedy series and a political telefilm, Deadline.com reports.

"Game Change," a TV movie about the 2008 Republican presidential ticket, will debut March 10, which coincides with four Republican primaries, the piece notes. The film stars Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin and Ed Harris as Sen. John McCain.

"Veep," a comedy series starring “Seinfeld” alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a U.S. vice president, will debut April 22, the story notes.

HBO is unveiling plans for a number of upcoming projects, with a talent roster that also includes Dustin Hoffman, Nicole Kidman, Judd Apatow and Ricky Gervais, the story notes.
