"Jersey Shore" producers are scouting another city as they consider moving the MTV reality hit from its home base of Seaside Heights, N.J., the New York Post’s Page Six reports.

They’re reportedly looking at locations in Jersey City, a port city across the Hudson River from Manhattan, as a possible location for the show’s sixth season.

Producers are also investigating Los Angeles and Las Vegas as potential settings for the show, the piece adds. The show has been optioned for another season, although the cast hasn’t yet been given contracts, according to the story.

The show has left its home base in the past, with season two being an escape to Miami Beach for the winter and season four filming in Italy.
