Oprah Winfrey’s new OWN show "Oprah’s Next Chapter" will expand to two nights after a recent ratings bump, according to The Hollywood Reporter’s The Live Feed blog.
Starting this weekend, the OWN show will air on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. and on Monday nights at 10 p.m., the story notes. The show had debuted with a two-hour program before continuing with one-hour airings.
"Next Chapter" saw a ratings rebound earlier this month, when an interview with "Star Wars" creator George Lucas drew 557,000 viewers, up from 501,000 a week earlier, the piece notes.
Scheduled episodes include a trip to Haiti with actor Sean Penn, airing Jan. 29, and an interview with motivational speaker Tony Robbins on Feb. 19 and 20, the story adds.
