Talk show heavyweights Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters are battling it out in a high-stakes scramble to snag the first U.S. interview with Pippa Middleton, the London Sunday Mirror reports.

Winfrey and Walters are in a 300,000-pound ($471,810) bidding war to secure Middleton, who plans to donate any fee to charity, according to the story.

Middleton, who gained attention during her sister Kate’s wedding to Prince William, is considered a dream guest for 2012, the piece adds.
