CBS announced that it is renewing a daytime talk show, and revealed what it has in mind for the on-air lineup, EW.com’s Inside TV reports.

"The Talk" will be back for a third season, and the network will keep the current lineup of co-hosts in place, the story reports.

The network is sticking with the current panel featuring Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler, the piece notes. The show has been drawing an average of 2.2 million viewers, with CBS attributing its popularity to the chemistry of the panel, the story adds.

Said David Stapf, president, CBS Television Studios: “We’re proud that ‘The Talk’ has already established great brand identity in only its second season. Much of the success can be attributed to our hosts’ chemistry and the work of our producers, whose selection of topics and guests are clearly resonating with viewers.”
