One of NBC’s most closely watched development projects is getting some added star power, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Jurassic Park” star Jeff Goldblum is joining the Sarah Silverman sitcom pilot, the story reports.

Goldblum has recently been on Fox’s "Glee" as Hiram Berry, one of Rachel Berry’s two dads. On the Silverman project, called "Susan 313," Goldblum will be playing her ex-boyfriend. The sitcom is loosely based on Silverman’s life.

Goldblum’s role is being called a guest turn, but if the show is picked up as a series, he could return.

Sliverman has worked with Goldblum before; they were both on FX’s "The League."

Silverman is co-writing the pilot with Dan Sterling and Jon Schroeder, having previous worked with the scribes on her Comedy Central series "The Sarah Silverman Program."
