Lindsay Lohan’s appearance as host of “Saturday Night Live” was a ratings success for NBC, delivering the show’s second-best numbers of the season in metered-market households, NBC reports.
The show pulled a 5.5/14 household number in metered markets, second only to the 8.2/19 for a telecast Jan. 7 that followed NBC’s NFL Wild Card Game coverage.
Saturday’s show was up 2% from the same night a year ago, the network reported.
In Local People Meter markets, the show averaged a 3.3 rating and 15 share in the 18-49 demo, the network reported, beating all prime-time programming for the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.
Here’s a clip of Lohan’s opening monologue:
Train Wreck! She had trouble reading the cue cards and obviously hadn’t done the prep work with scripts. Still has great legs though!
