Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan could be facing more legal problems, according to a report on TMZ.com. The actress reportedly struck a person with her car while driving away from a club where she was blocked by paparazzi and bystanders, and then left the scene, according to the story.
The police initially determined that one was injured, and the case was considered closed, the story says. But the person who was reportedly hit — the manager of the Hookah Lounge in Hollywood — later complained he was injured and went to the emergency room, indicating he planned to press charges and hire an attorney, TMZ reports.
The possibility that someone was injured means the incident could be considered hit and run, the piece adds. It could also violate her probation in her shoplifting case, the story adds.
The report says Lohan was leaving the Sayers Club in Hollywood when she found herself blocked in. The manager of the nearby Hookah Lounge “was standing by his car when Lindsay was attempting a 3-point turn and she grazed his knee and his car. We’re told the manager didn’t know who Lindsay was at first and he told the paparazzi on scene that he was fine. Cops say he was told the driver was Lindsay but he said he wasn’t from this country and didn’t know who she was. We’re told a short time later he began complaining he was injured.”
