A “Friends” reunion is in the works at NBC, where one of the stars of the long-running hit sitcom has been lined up to star in a sitcom pilot that’s being written by Scott Silveri, who was a writer on the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Matthew Perry, who played Chandler on “Friends,” will star in the pilot, “Go On.”

The story reports: “’Go On’ revolves around an irreverent yet charming sportscaster who tries to move on from loss and finds solace from the members of his mandatory group therapy sessions.”

Julie White and Suzy Nakamura co-star in the project. Todd Holland is set to direct and exec produce the pilot. The project is from Silveri — who also wrote “Friends” spinoff “Joey” — and Universal Television.
