Tony Danza, the star of the ABC comedy "Who’s the Boss?," may return to the network in a new comedy project executive produced by himself and Vince Vaughn, reports Deadline.com.

The project, which may be pegged to the next development cycle, is about three men whose lives have taken different paths but who reunite when they move into a bachelor pad to be closer to their children and grandchildren, the story says.

“It’s intended to be a funny and honest comedy about getting older, generational differences, and the message that it’s never too late to start a new chapter in life,” Danza said, according to the story.

Danza starred in “Who’s the Boss?’ from 1984-1992 after a run as a regular on “Taxi” from 1978-1983. Along with guest appearances, including an arc on “The Practice,” he returns regularly with new television projects. “The Tony Danza Show” lasted 14 episodes in the late 1990s, and other Danza series efforts have included “Hudson Street” in 1995-96 and a run on “Family Law” from 2000-2002.
