Security has reportedly been beefed up at the beach house featured on MTV’s "Jersey Shore," which has been the target of an ongoing problem: vandalism.

TMZ.com reports that the house has become a favorite target of graffiti artists, to the point where the Realtor has been forced to repaint the exterior on a weekly basis. The local authorities have been notified and are keeping an eye out for vandals, the report notes.

The graffiti consists of fans’ names and comments such as "We love you Snooki," the story says. Fans have also stolen roof shingles and have been caught fiddling with the front door when the Seaside Heights, N.J., house is vacant, the piece adds.

When the show is in production, responsibility for keeping up on the vandalism shifts to the “Jersey Shore” producers, the story notes.
