An actress who worked consistently on classic sitcoms including "I Love Lucy" has died, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Doris Singleton, 92, died Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Singleton, who played two recurring roles on “My Three Sons,” died just one day before the death of Don Grady, who played Robbie Douglas on that show.

Singleton played Lucy and Ricky Ricardo’s neighbor and sometimes enemy Carolyn Appleby on “I Love Lucy,” the story says. She appeared in 10 episodes of the comedy, which ran from 1951 to 1957.

She appeared on many other classic TV shows, including "Hogan’s Heroes," "Hazel,” "The Munsters" and "Dynasty.”

She started as a teen dancer with the American Ballet Theater and sang with bandleader Art Jarrett in the 1930s, then worked in radio with talents such as Bob Hope and George Burns, the story adds
