A new NBC show has added an actress known for her work on CBS’s “Two and a Half Men” as a series regular, Deadline.com reports.

"Infamous" promoted Marin Hinkle to full-time status after she guest-starred in the pilot of the soapy mystery, the story reports.

The series is slated to debut midseason, and focuses on a female detective, played by Meagan Good. Good’s character tries to solve the murder of her onetime close friend, the heiress Vivian Lawson.

Hinkle will play the wife of the Lawson family’s oldest child, who is played by Tate Donovan, the story says.

On "Two and a Half Men," Hinkle portrayed Alan Harper’s ex-wife Judith in a recurring role.
