CBS in Talks to Revive Canceled Series

CBS is reportedly talking with the production company behind a series that was canceled by the network, with the plan being to try to bring the show back for a summer run of 13 episodes.

The show is the Poppy Montgomery drama "Unforgettable," Deadline.com reports. CBS would not comment on the Deadline story.

Sony Pictures TV, which co-produces the show with CBS TV Studios, has tried shopping the series to TNT and Lifetime since CBS canceled it last month. If CBS goes for a summer run, "Unforgettable" would become the most notable original drama to air on the network in years during that time of the year.

The Canadian import "Flashpoint" also recently aired during the off-season.

"Unforgettable" had a better than average freshman season, with a mean audience of 12.1 million viewers and a 2.5 rating/7 share in the 18-49 demo. It was the most-watched series on any network to be canceled.

Oh… Maybe pick up THE FIRM the canceled series from NBC.. they never gave that show the chance.. The firm and CSI Miami were the only 2 shows I watched religiously..
