After a first season that drew critical raves along with solid viewer numbers, Showtime is beefing up the lineup for season two of "Homeland," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The terrorist drama has cast Rupert Friend as a series regular, playing a character named Peter Quinn — a conservative CIA analyst heading up a critical operation. Friend is best known for films including "Pride and Prejudice" and "The Young Victoria."

In addition to Friend, former "Lost" actress Zuleikha Robinson is becoming part of the "Homeland" cast. She will appear in a recurring role as Roya Hammad, a journalist specializing in the Mideast who has connections to Abu Nazir (Navid Negahban).
