Charlie Sheen’s Surprising New Thoughts on ‘Winning’

Charlie Sheen opens up in a new interview in which he again brings up "winning." Sheen said it’s clear he wasn’t "winning" after he was fired from "Two and a Half Men” — even though he famously celebrated the event and declared it a triumph at the time. He reflected on that turbulent period in an interview with Rolling Stone.

"Clearly, a guy gets fired, his relationships are in the toilet, he’s off on some fucking tour, there’s nothing ‘winning’ about any of that. I mean, how does a guy who’s obviously quicksanded, how does he consider any of it a victory? I was in total denial," Sheen said.

Sheen also talked — in glowing terms — about his use of alcohol. "I mean, the shit works. Sorry, but it works,” he told the magazine as part of a cover feature on Sheen. “Anyway, I don’t see what’s wrong with a few drinks. What’s your drink? Tequila? Mine’s vodka. Straight, because I’ve always said that ice is for injuries, ha ha."

Sheen will return to series television in the new FX comedy "Anger Management," set for a June 28 premiere.

  1. Sounds like this runaway train was just taking a break. Now it’s headed full steam for a wall.

  2. ^Pretty much.
I’m not sure who’s more scarily stupid, Charlie Sheen or those few fans he still has. Continuing to give him media coverage really serves no good use.
