A comment from British actor Jared Harris, who plays Lane Pryce on "Mad Men," is raising questions about the future of actress Elisabeth Moss on the AMC show, reports the New York Post.
Harris, in the digital paper The Daily, said he didn’t get a going-away party because so many actors were leaving the program, the story notes.
"Actors are always ending jobs.” he told the paper. “It isn’t a big deal in that sense. . . . Elisabeth [Moss] left the episode before, and she’d been there since the beginning.”
Asked whether that meant that Moss’ character Peggy was leaving the show, Harris replied, "Um … I have no idea what [show creator] Matthew Weiner intends to do and even then I couldn’t tell you.”
Peggy left the agency for a new job two weeks ago, the piece adds.
