David Simon, the creator of the acclaimed drama "The Wire," said a musical spoof based on the gritty series is "hilarious."

The clip features cast members from the show, including Michael Kenneth Williams, Sonja Sohn, Larry Gillard Jr., Andre Royo and Felicia Pearson, TVLine.com reports.

"Felicia’s turn alone is worth the time. Ya hair look good, Snoop," Simon wrote on his blog after being tipped off about the Funny or Die original.

The spoof was released on the 10th anniversary of the HBO drama, TVLine.com notes.
