Sundance has signed on to co-produce the spy novel "Restless" with the BBC, with a cast that includes Michelle Dockery of "Downton Abbey" and Rufus Sewell of "Pillars of the Earth," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The co-production of the TV version of the novel by William Boyd, which was adapted by the writer, is set in World War II and tracks a Russian spy seeking to infiltrate the British Secret Service, the story notes.
The spy will be played by Hayley Atwell of "Captain America," with Sewell playing a British secret service agent. Dockery will play the spy’s daughter, who discovers her mother’s secret years later, the story notes.
The project will air on Sundance later this year.
