Comedian Jerry Lewis was released from a New York hospital after spending two nights there, reports the Associated Press.
As previously reported, Lewis spent a second night in the hospital after collapsing Tuesday before a Friars Club event, with his collapse blamed on low blood sugar. Lewis is diabetic.
Lewis’ rep Candi Cazau said "all is well" with Lewis, and the 86-year-old is planning to return to work. He’s starting three weeks of directing rehearsals for a new musical based on his 1963 film "The Nutty Professor," the piece adds.
