The decision is in for two celebrities who squared off in federal court in a high-stakes case that had one actor accusing another of cheating him out of money.

Kevin Costner prevailed in his court battle with fellow actor Stephen Baldwin, Reuters reports. Baldwin had accused Costner of cheating Baldwin in a multimillion-dollar deal to sell oil cleanup devices after the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

A U.S. jury ruled in favor of Costner in the federal lawsuit, the story notes. "The bigger celebrity won," said James Cobb, an attorney for the plaintiff, according to the story.

As previously reported, Baldwin accused Costner of duping him and a friend out of their shares in an $18 million deal for BP to buy the devices.
