Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson announced plans to take his one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth,” to Broadway, with help from film director Spike Lee.

The plan is to take the show to New York’s Longacre Theatre for a six-night run, July 31-Aug. 5, The Washington Post reports. The project marks Lee’s debut as a Broadway director, the story reports.

The report notes: “The show, a raw confessional on the highs and lows of the life of the retired heavyweight and tabloid target, made its debut in April at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.”

Since he became the youngest heavyweight champion in history in 1986, at the age of 20, Tyson’s life has been dogged by prison, scandal and accusations of domestic violence, rape and drug use.
