20th Century Fox Television has signed a co-executive producer of "Modern Family" to a two-year overall deal, reports TheWrap.com.

Abraham Higginbotham will be promoted to executive producer and will develop projects for the studio, which produces the popular ABC comedy, the story notes.

The deal comes after "Modern Family’s” Jeff Richman signed a similar deal with 20th Century Fox Television. Higginbotham has worked on "Modern Family" since 2010.
