Parts of an interview by NBC’s Bob Costas’ with former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, which raised eyebrows when it aired back in November, could become evidence in his molestation trial, reports TVNewser.com.

Prosecutors have reportedly asked NBC for the full transcript of the interview, and may present it as evidence in the case, the story notes.

"It was a brutal interview, filled with awkward silences and curious responses," the article says, such as Sandusky’s response to a question about his Second Mile charity, to which he responded, "I didn’t go around seeking out every young person for sexual needs that I’ve helped."

The interview, which was edited for airing, was originally broadcast on "Rock Center."
