NBC has taken the wraps off the “C-list” celebrity cast of the network’s upcoming military-themed reality competition series "Stars Earn Stripes," reports B&C.

The series, which will be hosted by Gen. Wesley Clark (ret.) — the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe for NATO and former presidential candidate — and "Entertainment Tonight’s" Samantha Harris, will feature Laila Ali, daughter of Muhammad Ali and a boxing champion in her own right; television actors Dean Cain ("Lois & Clark") and Terry Crews ("Everybody Hates Chris"); “The Sing-Off” host Nick Lachey; Todd Palin, the husband of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin; Olympic great Picabo Street; “The Biggest Loser” trainer Dolvett Quince; and WWE star Eve Torres.

The eight stars will face complicated challenges and missions that reflect real military exercises. Each one will have as a partner a former member of the armed forces or law enforcement agencies. All prize money the celebs earn will go to the charity of their choice.

The new series will debut with a special two-hour episode that will air Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. ET.

  1. C-List is being very generous. Todd Palin can’t even be considered a celebrity. Other than Dean Cain, who had a brief period of real popularity, the rest are hoping this gets them to the C-List.
