Report: Another ‘Today’ Regular May Be on the Way Out Along With Ann Curry

With Ann Curry poised to leave her longtime spot in the rotation at NBC’s “Today” show, another “Today” regular is reportedly contemplating an exit from the show.

The New York Post’s Page Six reports that longtime "Today" news reader Natalie Morales, who has had her eye on Curry’s job, may leave the show if she’s passed over again for the co-host job.

As reported separately today, sources say Savannah Guthrie has formally been offered the job.

Morales has worked at "Today" since 2006 and was considered a possible replacement for Meredith Vieira when she stepped down last year.

A source told the publication: “If Natalie’s passed over for the job, she’s going to leave next. … This will be the second time [Natalie] has been passed over for the top job. And she’s not happy.”

That account was refuted by a rep for NBCUniversal, who said it’s "totally untrue" that Morales is disgruntled.

A separate source added: “Natalie couldn’t be happier in her current role.”
