The long-awaited return of Fox’s Emmy-winning comedy "Arrested Development" has at last begun, confirmed by a series of tweets on Tuesday night from the writer’s room, reports TVLine.com.

Ron Howard, executive producer and narrator, tweeted, "’Arrested Development’ for Nexflix. IT’S ALIVE." He then posted a photo of himself with Jason Bateman and series creator Mitchell Hurwitz and added, "Mitch [Hurwitz] let Jason and I in on some of the twists and turns ahead. Hilarious.”

Bateman also tweeted about plans for the show, posting: “All systems are go. Filming for the new episodes starts in four weeks. Woo!”

Netflix will release all 10 new episodes at once — the fourth season of "Arrested Development" — sometime next year.
