Who Tops Forbes’ New List of the Highest-Earning Young Celebrities? It’s All About Girl Power This Year

Forbes magazine has released its list of the 10 highest-paid celebrities under 30, and female performers dominate this year’s list.

Singer Taylor Swift claims the top spot, earning an estimated $57 million during the May 2011-May 2012 period. All three of the 22-year-old singer’s albums have gone platinum, the report notes, while her concerts take in $1 million per night on average. She also earns money from endorsements, including her deal with CoverGirl.

Second on the list is the only male in the top five. Justin Bieber, 18, earned an estimated $55 million during the period.

Third is Rihanna, 24, at $53 million, followed by Lady Gaga, 26, with $52 million. Rounding out the top 5 is Katy Perry, 27, with earnings of $45 million.
