ABC has bought two projects from Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland — a half-hour comedy and a dramedy, reports Deadline.com.

The comedy, "I Hate L.A. Dudes," is about an aspiring journalist who is the only woman on an Internet-based talk show, the story says. The show, Shondaland’s first sitcom, is from writer Issa Rae, known for the Web series “The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl.”

The dramedy, "The Mix," is set behind the scenes on a talk show like "The View," which features five women who co-host a morning talk show, the story notes. It’s written by John Hoffman (“Igor”).

“With Rhimes busy shepherding three series she created — ABC’s ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ ‘Private Practice’ and ‘Scandal’ — she and her producing partner at Shondaland Betsy Beers focused on developing with other writers this season,” the report notes. “The two executive produce both ‘I Hate L.A. Dudes’ and ‘The Mix,’ which hail from ABC Studios.”
