An actress known for her role in the ABC drama series “Alias” is getting in business with NBC for a new project. Deadline.com reports that Jennifer Garner, whose Vandalia Films signed a first-look deal with Universal TV, has sold a comedy to the Peacock Network.
The project is a semi-autobiographical comedy from writer Ellen Rapoport, with Television 360 (“Game of Thrones”) putting together the still untitled project.
“It tells the story of Allie, a nerdy, 20-something overachiever, who is befriended and taken in by two promiscuous party girls,” the story reports. “They give her the adolescence she never had, while she teaches them how to grow up. Rapoport will executive produce with Television 360′s Daniel Rappaport and Meghan Lyvers and Vandalia’s Garner and Juliana Janes.”
