After tolerating a couple of weeks of less-than-stellar ratings, A&E is booting a series from its spot on the schedule and relegating it to Saturday nights.

The Futon Critic reports that the reality show “Southie Rules" is being bumped from its Tuesday spot. Its 10 p.m. slot will be filled with repeats of “Storage Wars” when “Southie” relocates to 10 p.m. Saturday starting Feb. 23.

“The half-hour series — about ‘a proud native South Boston family that is battling the relentless gentrification of their neighborhood’ — fell to a series-low 606,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating among adults 18-49 for its 10:30/9:30c episode [last week], literally half of its debut audience on January 29 at 10:00/9:00c (1.281 million viewers, 0.5 adults 18-49 rating),” the report notes.

The show’s exec producers are Seanbaker Carter, Joel Olicker and Tug Yourgrau of Powderhouse Productions and Brian Flanagan, Matt Ostrom and Laura Palumbo Johnson of Magilla Entertainment, the piece notes.
