Amazon.com is working with one of the top suppliers of children’s programming on a new project aimed at kids. The New York Times’ Media Decoder reports that the online firm is partnering with WGBH-TV, one of the biggest providers of kids’ programming for PBS.

The production arm of Amazon said it has ordered a children’s pilot named "Sara Solves It," which was co-developed by WGBH and Out of the Blue Enterprises, a production company from "Blue Clues" co-creator Angela Santomero, the story notes.

The pilot will be posted on Amazon’s streaming video service, along with the pilots of five other children’s projects, and viewer feedback will be used to help determine which project goes forward to series, the story adds.

WGBH, the public television station in Boston, has produced children’s shows such as "Zoom" and the animated show "Arthur."
