Actress Tara Reid is disputing a media report that surfaced over the weekend that says she has been dumped from the sequel to "Sharknado." TVWeek carried the report this morning.

Accesshollywood.com says Reid took to Twitter to refute the report, tweeting: “There is no script for Sharknado 2. … Until I read it then I will make a decision. But everyone that is saying i got cut that is not true #liars.”

The report adds: "The production company behind the movie, The Asylum, also Tweeted, ‘For the record, @TaraReid is awesome and was great to work with in #SHARKNADO. We’d be lucky to have her back for the sequel. That is all!’"

“Sharknado 2” is expected to roll out in 2014, with the action reportedly moving to New York City.
