SoapNet Teams With Monster

It’s a cliché that unemployed workers develop an appreciation for daytime soap operas. So perhaps the teaming of SoapNet and the career-finding service Monster is a perfect match. Monster will sponsor new episodes of SoapNet’s “micro series” called “One Minute Soap,” a workplace-themed romance told over six weeks. The site is also sponsoring a SoapNet sweepstakes in which the winner will get to manage the network for one day and receive executive perks.

“We are thrilled to partner with Monster in both these endeavors,” said Deborah Blackwell, general manager, SoapNet. “Our ‘One Minute Soaps’ are very popular with our viewers, and they give us the opportunity to work with sponsors and advertisers in new and unique ways.”
