CGTV Inks Partnership Deal

Start-up gaming network CGTV has signed a deal with a United Kingdom production company to acquire its poker library and to co-produce new programming, the company announced Wednesday. CGTV-which stands for Casino and Gaming TV-partnered with Flextech Television, the programming division of the United Kingdom’s Telewest.

Their first co-production will be “Poker Hotel,” a reality docu-soap following a group of celebrities and professional poker players competing in a hotel for a week.

“Flextech Television and Challenge offer the most entertaining gaming-oriented programming in Europe,” said CGTV President and CEO Nickolas Rhodes. “This unique partnership will actually blend gaming styles from both sides of the Atlantic, providing fans with world-class casino drama and action.”
