UPN announced Wednesday it has named Pamela Miller VP, business and legal affairs, and Angela Somerville director, drama development. In addition the network has promoted Dana Theodoratos to director, casting.

Ms. Miller will handle the negotiation of development, talent and pilot/series deals on behalf of the network. She reports to Nicole Levinsohn, senior VP, business and legal affairs. Ms. Miller has worked for Warner Bros. Television, Studio 4 Networks and CBS Enterprises.

Ms. Somerville will be involved in all aspects of developing new drama series for UPN. She reports to Maggie Murphy, senior VP, drama development. Ms. Somerville previously worked in ABC’s current programming department and as a development executive at Wolf Films and NBC.

Ms. Theodoratos had been UPN’s manager of casting since she joined the network in June 2002. She reports to Judith Weiner, senior VP, talent and casting. Previously, she worked in casting at Artists Television Group.
