FX has placed a six-episode order for “30 Days,” a reality series by “Super Size Me” director Morgan Spurlock, the network announced Tuesday. The show will place a person in an environment that is “antithetical to their upbringing, beliefs, religion or profession” for a month. Mr. Spurlock will host and narrate the series as well as serve as executive producer along with Ben Silverman.

“Super Size Me” dealt with a serious issue in an entertaining way and I wanted to translate that to television by creating a show that would engage a viewer, make them laugh and make them think,” Mr. Spurlock said.

FX originally announced a pilot order for “30 Days” in March.
